How it works

Nandrolone is a close relative of testosterone, missing one carbon atom.

  • Anabolic with milder androgen effects: in the scalp and prostate it becomes the weaker DHN, not DHT.
  • Progestin activity: it acts on progesterone receptors and can raise prolactin.
  • Very long-acting: the decanoate ester gives a half-life of about 6–12 days, so it builds slowly and lingers for weeks.
