What Zionova Anavar is

How it works
Oxandrolone binds to androgen receptors in muscle and increases protein synthesis and nitrogen retention, the processes that build and preserve muscle tissue. Two traits explain its reputation:
- It doesn’t aromatize. It isn’t converted to estrogen, so estrogen-related bloating and gynecomastia are uncommon.
- It’s 17-α-alkylated. This chemical change lets it survive being swallowed and processed by the liver. It’s why Anavar works as a tablet, and also why it strains the liver.
Side effects and risks
Every risk below increases with dose and with how long you use it.
Liver strain
Like all 17-α-alkylated orals, oxandrolone raises liver enzymes (ALT and AST). Avoid alcohol, don’t combine it with other oral steroids, keep courses short and get a liver panel.
Cholesterol
It lowers HDL and can raise LDL, a shift linked to heart disease. Regular cardio and a heart-healthy diet help; bloodwork tells you where you stand.
Testosterone suppression
Even moderate doses lower your body’s own testosterone. Recovery may need post-cycle therapy (see PCT below).
Androgenic effects
Acne, oily skin, and hair thinning in men who are prone to male-pattern hair loss.
For women: virilization
Deeper voice, facial and body hair, clitoral enlargement and menstrual changes. Some of these can be permanent, so stop at the first sign.

Dosing information
