How it works
GW501516 activates PPAR-delta, a gene switch that ramps up fat burning in muscle. In mice, it turned sedentary animals into far better runners. Short human trials found it raised HDL (“good”) cholesterol and lowered triglycerides. Its half-life is about 16–24 hours. It doesn’t act on hormones and doesn’t affect testosterone.
