Toronto is Canada’s largest city and its biggest gym market, from downtown condo gyms to suburban powerlifting clubs in Scarborough, Etobicoke and North York. This guide covers the practical side of ordering in Toronto: delivery, bloodwork, harm-reduction services and the law, with links to our in-depth guides.
Ordering and delivery to Toronto
- Every order ships from inside Canada by Canada Post Xpresspost, with tracking
- Orders placed before 2 PM EST, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day
- Parcels are plain and unbranded, with no product names outside
- Prices are in Canadian dollars; payment is by Interac e-Transfer or crypto
- Shipping is free on orders over $300
Many downtown condos receive parcels at a concierge desk or in parcel lockers. If you’d rather not leave a parcel at the front desk, choose delivery to a Canada Post outlet near you.
Weather: Toronto winters are milder than most of Canada, but parcels can still sit in cold lobbies or mailboxes; let vials warm to room temperature and check they’re clear before use.
Bloodwork in Toronto
Community labs such as LifeLabs and Dynacare have locations across the city, and many tests are covered by OHIP with a requisition from your doctor. Self-pay testing is also available. Ask for a baseline panel before you start: testosterone, LH, FSH, estradiol, a complete blood count, lipids, and liver and kidney function. Our guide to reading your blood work explains the results in Canadian units.
Harm reduction and supplies
Toronto Public Health’s harm reduction program, The Works, and community health centres across the city provide free sterile supplies and sharps containers, with no questions about what they’re for. Use a new needle and syringe for every injection and never share. See our injection guide.
In Ontario, many pharmacies take back household sharps free through the Health Products Stewardship Association program; ask at the counter. More options are in our sharps disposal guide.
The law in Ontario
Steroid law is federal, so it’s the same in Toronto as anywhere in Canada. Anabolic steroids are Schedule IV under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act: possessing them for personal use isn’t an offence, while trafficking, importing and exporting without authorization are. Testosterone is also a prescription drug; if you have symptoms of low testosterone, a doctor in Toronto can test and treat you under OHIP. See TRT in Canada.
