- Most bad experiences come from the source, not the drug: underdosed vials, contamination, or sites that take payment and never ship.
- A legitimate Canadian source ships from inside Canada, prices in CAD, takes Interac or crypto, and lists compound, strength and manufacturer for every product.
- Too-cheap prices, credit card payments and overseas shipping are the three biggest red flags.
- You can check what you got: independent lab testing and your own bloodwork are the two reliable ways to confirm a product is real.
There are hundreds of websites claiming to be Canada’s trusted steroid source. Some are, many aren’t, and from the outside they can look identical. This guide gives you a practical checklist for judging any source, including ours, and explains how to confirm a product is what the label says once you have it.
What can go wrong
The risks of a bad source are real and worth naming:
- Underdosed or empty products. Independent testing of underground steroids has repeatedly found products with less active ingredient than labelled, a different compound, or none at all.
- Poor sterility. Injectables made without proper sterile technique can cause abscesses and infections that need antibiotics or surgical drainage.
- Payment scams. Sites that take payment and never ship, or ship once and disappear.
- Seizures. Overseas sources ship through the Canada Border Services Agency, which can seize the parcel.
Red flags
Walk away if you see any of these: prices far below other Canadian sources; credit card checkout; no clear shipping origin; “guaranteed results” or before-and-after photos as the main selling point; products with no strength or manufacturer listed; pressure tactics like countdown timers on every page.
Prices that are too low
A 10 ml vial of testosterone enanthate at 250 mg/ml typically costs $75 to $105 in Canada. If a site sells it for $30, something is being cut: the dose, the sterility, or the honesty.
Credit card checkout
Card networks don’t allow merchants to process payments for controlled drugs. A site taking cards for steroids is either disguising the transaction (a fraud risk for you) or not selling what it claims. Our payment guide explains why Interac and crypto are the norm.
Vague shipping
“Fast worldwide shipping” usually means overseas. Look for a clear statement that orders ship from inside Canada, with a named carrier like Canada Post Xpresspost and tracking.
Green flags
- Specific product information. Compound and ester, strength (mg/ml or mg per tablet), volume or count, and manufacturer.
- Batch certificates of analysis (COAs) available on request, and willingness to answer questions about them.
- Prices in CAD that sit within the normal Canadian range, with consistent cost per mg across products.
- Specific, mixed reviews. Real customers mention delivery times, packaging and the odd complaint. Pages of identical five-star praise are a warning.
- Honest health information. A source that talks openly about side effects, bloodwork and PCT is more likely to care about what it sells.
- A track record. How long has the business been operating, and does it have a consistent presence?
How to check what you bought
Look before you use
Check that vials are sealed with an intact flip-off cap, labelled with the compound, strength and batch number, and that the oil is clear with no particles or cloudiness. Tablets should be uniform in size, colour and markings. Our guide to spotting fake Anavar covers tablets in more detail.
Independent lab testing
Several independent analytical labs test steroid samples sent in by users for a fee, reporting what the compound is and how much is in it. This is the most direct way to confirm a product, and many users pool money to test popular batches.
Reagent test kits
Colour-change reagent kits can show whether a particular steroid is present, but not how much. They’re a quick screen, not proof of dose.
Your own bloodwork
For testosterone products, a blood test a few weeks in is a practical check. If you’re using a meaningful dose, total testosterone should be well above your baseline and LH should be suppressed. If your numbers barely move, the product is probably underdosed. Book through your doctor or privately at LifeLabs or Dynacare, and see our guide to reading your blood work.
Questions to ask any source
- Where do orders ship from, and by which carrier?
- Can I see a COA for the batch you’re selling now?
- What happens if a parcel is lost or damaged?
- How long have you been operating?
A legitimate source will answer these plainly. Evasive or scripted answers tell you what you need to know.
How we measure up
SteroidsCanada.is has operated since 2003. Every order ships from inside Canada by Canada Post Xpresspost with tracking, prices are in Canadian dollars, and payment is by Interac e-Transfer or cryptocurrency. Each product page lists the compound, strength, pack size and manufacturer (Zionova or Genetix Pharma), and a batch COA is available on request. We’d still rather you verify than take our word for it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if a Canadian steroid site is legit?
Check that it ships from inside Canada, prices in CAD, takes Interac or crypto rather than cards, lists full product details, and can provide batch COAs. Then confirm with bloodwork or lab testing once you have a product.
Can I get steroids tested in Canada?
Reagent kits give a quick presence test. For dose and purity, users send samples to independent analytical labs that test steroids for a fee.
Why don’t steroid sites take credit cards?
Card networks prohibit payments for controlled drugs, so legitimate sources use Interac e-Transfer or crypto. A site that takes cards is usually disguising the transaction.
Is a lab-tested label enough?
No. Anyone can print “lab tested”. Ask for the actual certificate, check that the batch matches, and confirm with your own bloodwork.
